The Southern Rocky Moutain Wolf lived in the Southern Rocky Moutains and it's surrounding areas. They were a medium-large sized wolf, 4 to 5+ feet long and about 90 pounds. These wolves were light colored, similar to teh Great Plains wolf. Sadly, this poor wolf became extinct in the 1930's from over hunting, trapping, and poisoning.
